Growing up
Growing up I had no voice Growing up I was wrong if I made a noise Growing up we were told to not be heard or seen All of our emotions acted like it has never been. Growing up in conflict Wondering if his emotions will flick Walking on eggshells Scared of their glares. Now I am mature for my age I mean I always have a smile on face Helping everyone through their maze While I wonder in a glaze. I would avoid conflict By staying quiet if their emotions flick I would say sorry even if its not my fault And whenever there is a fight I want to bolt. Whenever someone's behaviour change I would be the one to find it strange You have to be smart and work hard Or else I am barred. The constant disapproval Is kindoff hurtfull I am okay I know But it is like I am in this constant loop of unknown. Growing up came a little to early for me My imagination wiped away so I cant even see The colours, the skies and the green grass I had to learn on a young age to have class. Be a young lady Always say yes never maybe Be helpfull and change Whenever it wasnt going their way. Growing up in conflict Always looking for a flick. ~Josslynn
