The protanopia didn't just affect his eyes. He couldn't see the world for what it truly is. Colorful, beautiful and passionate. Like they say, he couldn't'live life on life's terms'. He not only had an addiction to pills, but also to Control. He missed out on the beauty of pain because he blocked it all out. He thought he could make the pain vanish. But without pain there cannot be love. -LM
