GREED
In caverns deep where shadows reign, Where treasures gleam like golden rain, Within my heart, a burning flame, Greed's hunger grows, without refrain. In vaults of stone, where riches sleep, My avarice stirs, my secrets keep, For gold and gems, my soul does weep, In endless craving, I silently creep. From kingdoms grand to humble abode, My lust for wealth, an endless road, In every coin and jewel bestowed, My insatiable thirst is bestowed. Beneath the earth, where darkness thrives, Where hidden treasures, my soul contrives, In greed's embrace, my spirit strives, For more and more, my hunger drives. For in this heart of mine, so bold, Greed's whispers echo, uncontrolled, In riches vast, my desires hold, And in their grasp, my soul is sold.
