Greed
The frost bites the air. My sinuses are draining, my feelings are cold and fading. Eclipse the sun everything is shadowed. I walk to retrace my steps, finding a way out till there is nothing left. The situation calls tears are fading; lost. My heart caught in a vice grip, the colors change my thoughts. Confidence and dilemmas, the torture is evident. Dreams fade to memories memories ease the pain. Greedy flies surround the cries buzzing inside out. The shadows leave me cold thoughts drift to blitz the old. She calls me out of my name no longer participating in her games. I'm stuck, my foot caught in a bear trap. -Her eyes are wet and sad my blue eyes swallow chance. Greedy flies trap the pride the stickiness sits inside the sickness. Break me off and climb the steps follow time while I retrace my steps. There's too much greed inside call me while there's something left.
