Gravity Pulling Eye's Lids
Yellow and red hues With joint checking, pay their dues It catches onto the greens in the grass People looking on, just, let it pass This fog gives rise to an ink pneuma Overtaking, overbearing, et tu Caligula? Down distinctly inside the rise This stings, makes the 'we's close their 'I's Floating along banks, arrow inside, quiver Shooting, dart, to board, a place to cross the river Its waters, anger rages on just a smidge Supporting, carrying away, the bridge But eyes cross to the other side anyway Sights braving, bridge paving, water's ways waves sway When time dries them out they leave Flowers by themselves, in thirst, to grieve For showers they eagerly pray and wait Their eyes, wise to the sun's seal of fate Only the clouds cries can give them a break In hands, only they, their live's, days, they make Until the hour, at last, starts a beginning trend And their life finds, a beginning, starting at the end
