Granting to the Ever-Asking
Why dare to help a soul When such wield no own? One deserves nothing but cold Until proven worthing gold; Needs and asks It's always this way Wield a gentle mask Only to rob what you gain; Any bit of empathy falters When a body does not produce If the tab lacks in numbers Your value does reduce; None cares for the saints When their blessings is earn Their being holds no means Trades we tend to learn; A giver holds guilt In any made mistake Desires do not yeld If to not fall in other's blame; Do the gods ever feel alone When believers claim their help? Though, when it's their turn for it To where should they step?
