Grandpa
I love you, I may not see you often, We may barely talk at all. When I'm at your house I sit and be by myself. But when I do see you, When we do talk, When we are sitting together, It's the happiest I am. The happiness I have when I'm with you, Is different from any other kind. You watch me grow up, You taught me to be kind, Even when others aren't kind to me. You are always proud of me, You always show up when you can. Even if we can't see each other again in life, We will still see each other again In death.
