Grandpa
Grandpa By Shanda May (Stormmy) I remember the days that we spent together. Knowing these memories would last forever. When I was four, we built a snow man one cold day. I didn't know how so you showed me the way. When I was eight, you taught me how to ride my bike. You promised you'd never let go, then you said sike. When I was ten and got hurt pretty bad. I woke up and saw that you were so sad. When I was twelve, you adopted me. And you showed me off to every one we would see. When I was fourteen and hated school. You let me know who really was the fool. When I was sixteen and left home. You told me that my heart just needed to roam. When I was eighteen and having my own daughter. I realized that day that you were my father. When I was twenty and moved away. And from that day forward you didn't have much to say. I know it's not because you didn't love me anymore. It's because you heart was sore. I want you to know that I may have grown up so much. But I couldn't do it without your loving touch. You are my grandpa and I love you so. But you have been more like a father too me and i just wanted you to know.
