GOOSEBUMPS OF FEAR
In silence I carry every fear no one sees Alone, with thoughts louder than thunder. shivering not from cold, but from the storm inside my chest. I felt the weight of words I never Said choking my sleep, I'm lost in the maze of maybes, confused by my own heartbeat. Anxious eyes scan the dark for monsters only I can see. pondering in silence, I choose the edges of my fierce wondering, if I could ever get better, if this storm is home now. But in my mind the goosebumps never fade.
