Goodnight Nobody
I’m still here on the infinite shore, void of vessel, void of oar. Upon flaxen sand, in emery night; peering through the misty white. I see no moon. I see no stars. Just the passing voyage, of mankind’s farce. Its ghostship trails with remnant’s wake, through steely waters, I cannot wade. With hollow hands, and a tethered seam. Forever passed, and never seen; as imperceptible as the lilting sheen, caught within the fading light, of an eye, in a mind's dying dream.
