the waves hit the beach with a soft flush, one that makes the sunset blush, as the tide sets and your words go out, that goodnight means its lights out, but even then I sit in my bed and look about at what lies ahead, where can you take me?, where can we go, for I wanna chase the moon with you and you alone, so lets dream on, lets play together in the sun, lets sit at the park and watch our kids grow up, lets take turns pointing out the she stars, lets make up for all of our broken parts, cause at night we can, it becomes a plan, for were young and cant go away right now, so lets love each other til the nights go out- I love you
