Goodbyes with peace
When I choose peace, I knew I'd have to say goodbye To the noise, the chaos, and the tears I'd cried I had to let go of the weights that held me down And find my solace in the silence of this town With every step, I leave the past behind Embracing the unknown, with a heart and mind That's open to the journey, and the lessons I'll find Goodbyes with peace, a new path unwinds I said goodbye to the shadows that haunted me To the fears that bound me and the doubts that plagued me I bid farewell to the ghosts of my past And welcomed the dawn of a new path at last In the stillness, I find my strength A sense of calm that guides me through the length Of every storm, every test of time I'll hold on to peace, and let go of the grime Now I walk in peace, with a heart full of light The goodbyes I've said, have made room for new delight A sense of freedom, that I've never known Goodbyes with peace, have led me back home.
