goodbye of a boy
Trapped in a body not meant for me I'm not the one you think you know Being seen as a girl that never was me Too scared to come out and dont know how Looking for binders on the internet Although there is no chance of wearing one Being called a girl makes me sick Will you realise i'm not, before i'm gone? Cant stand the way you make me sit up straight, i hate when you say i'm a woman, i'm your girl and calling me a name i buried long ago doesnt make me the daughter you wish to have And if i die, dont bury me in a dress, dont wipe my tears away, dont treat me like someone i never was I am more than this body, cant you see? I was more than this body, cant you see? If you couldnt accept me in my lifetime isnt it time to start after my last goodbye?
