Goodbye

I cling to you like you are my air I breathe you in and you don't care You love me not in the way I need But you want my company so i shall never be freed I yearn and beg and cry on my knees But you can't change despite my pleas I know it is not you at fault for this But all i needed was your gentle kiss It hurts when you act like we can have something more When we both know in reality its a long closed door If you wanted it you wouldn't consider something else But whatever is happening now is putting me through hell And i cant act like i dont want to get lost in your eyes But one day you had to realise Despite all our trying, despite all our fun I will never be the one You were one of my only goals But in your mind you were just playing a role Thank you, though, for putting on this show Now its time to try and let you go So i suppose if this really is the end Thank you for being my dear dear friend Thank you for the laughter, thank you for the high But now we must say goodbye
