Goodbye ππΎββππππ€¦πΎββ
The day we both dread, it's finally here I don't even know if I can suppress my tears As excited as I am, not every part of me is amused I'm genuinely quite sad about not holding you My love, my man, my chicken nugget, my cousin I'm waiting for the day I can officially call you my husband At one point, I was afraid of marriage, due to my parents' divorce Now thanks to you, I don't have that fear anymore I know you're strong and you're gonna be okay I just wish we didn't have to geographically part our ways Even though I'll be on the other side of the world, I will do my very best to be a good girl I hope whenever you read this poem, you can reminisce over and over I'm genuinely gonna miss the feeling of your heavy-ass arm on my shoulder So with that being said, I have to say those painful words The ones we avoid so they don't hurt I will miss you so much, I might even cry I'mma hold your hand when I say this, It's time to say goodbye Goodbye my prince and my king-to-be Knowing your love for me, I can safely say you won't forget me I won't forget you either, I'm coming back I promise πβ¨π
