Good Enough
I never used to question it Never even thought it was something to be questioned How can a person objectify themselves? No less to please a boy that doesn't care about them? Am I good enough? Was I ever good Enough? Will I ever be good enough? What did I do wrong? What flaw of mine played a horrid song? What did I do for you to do that to me Or What can I do to make you stop it? What should I change? I will change I'd rip my eyeballs out if I could for you Is it my eyes? I could change and make them blue If blue isn't your colour maybe we'll just stick them shut with glue Is it my eyeshape that you don't like? Or rather the shape of my face. I'd bash it against a rock for you I'd change to turn the tides Hoping maybe then you could be mine Tell me please I'm begging on my knees Tell me what to do How can I be good enough for you? ©️ moonshin_pumpkin
