Gone Girl
She walked & talked alone, though others' wondered why, she only had her eyes' cast upwards towards the sky. She didn't have friends', no need for earthly things'; all she wanted was freedom from years' of oppression & depression, that held her like puppet strings'. She longed to be a bird, that she may fly away, jealous of every tree, for planted they would always stay. She was envious of the steam, that made the element of air; its' only home. Some say she wished too hard, some say she hoped too long; but one day; she stretched her arms' upwards towards the sky, & simply "flew away". Some say she wished too hard, others' say she hoped too long; but, we all awoke one Summer morning to find that that the girl that no one knew, nor, what she had gone through; was gone, & while she merely disappeared, she was known as gone girl.
