Gone and forgotten
Gone like dust on a windy day. Gone but not forgotten as they said, but were they not forgotten, or is that just a saying? Every day she would drift herself away from all her loved ones, nodding and smiling but yet inside she needed to release fire. She was underwater, nobody could hear her screeching screams of pain and suffering. A couple of last breaths were all she had and she wanted to fight but she was being pulled deeper, she was being pulled deeper, she was being pulled deeper under the water where it was dark and nobody was there to help her. Nobody heard her. Nobody heard her yet she was sitting right there beside them. Right there beside them. She was sitting right there. Yet nobody cared to ask her if she was okay. She was sitting right there. It wasn't anyone's problem. At last, she took her last breath and drifted to the bottom, accepting her fate. Her eyes filled with hope slowly were crushed by reality. No one came to save her. Gone but not forgotten. ♡literallyabigail
