Gone
The townspeople called Let the sunshine For the day belongs to them Don't let the rain fall Don't let the clouds come Don't stop the sunbeams Until the summer day is done Then the moon can shine Let the clouds cover the moon Let the rain fall Hold the night back As the moon doesn't belong to them The moon doesn't light their life They don't use the moon Let the sunshine Keep the moon for others Those who know the moon The phases The light The townspeople called Asked for forgiveness Now without the moon Their new begging stop Their night light is gone The hope of a better life is gone They wish for the moon They wish for the sun Now with both their lives complete Their hope is back The night light is home So are the sunbeams The townspeople called again They said thank you For their sun And their moon Their lives are now complete as they have both of the things they need
