Gone
In the realm of sorrow's depth, I shall craft, A melancholic verse, with heartache engrafted, Where love once bloomed, now faded and lost, Leaving behind a soul forever tossed. Once, there was a spark, a glimmering flame, A belief in love's embrace, that fueled your aim, You thought their love was real, as genuine as gold, A haven of happiness, you were gently enfold. In their eyes, you found solace, profound and true, A refuge from the storms that life would pursue, Their presence, a balm that soothed your weary heart, With every smile, they breathed life into your art. But alas, fate's fickle hand had other plans, And like a whisper's end, they slipped from your hands, One day, without warning, they vanished from sight, Leaving you bewildered, abandoned in the night. The sun lost its brilliance, the stars ceased to shine, As the void engulfed you, aching and divine, Every cherished moment, a cruel memory now, A tapestry of joy turned to anguish somehow. You search for answers in the shadows of the past, Trying to fathom how this love couldn't last, But the echoes of their presence merely torment, Each whisper of their name, a wound to your lament. With their absence, joy has lost its very core.
