GOLDEN CAGE
*Golden Cage* Gilded bars, shining, bright, A flash that masks the silent night. Wings brushed against crystal walls, Dreams flutter—yet never take flight. Soft cushions, scented air, Every comfort—still, a snare. Eyes that once roamed open skies, Now trace the seams of polished glare. A song that once rang fierce and free, Now hums low, a muted plea: “Open the door, let me breathe, Even if the world outside’s harsh—let me be.”
