golden

"golden". when you hear the word, what do you think? do you think golden age? your teenage years? or do you think gold bars? the source of jealous money? maybe you think a golden child? which would be correct for this. i am what people call a "golden child". gifted and "perfect". i am not perfect, and while i am gifted, it's hard. the expectations for me are set so high for a teenager. barely a teenager at that. i am a freshman in high school. i should be living a teenage life instead of studying on weekends. being gifted. it's not lucky. it's a curse.
