Go west, young man,
Go west, young man, where horizons gleam, To lands where sunsets paint the sky; In fields of gold and valleys deep, Let virtue guide you, ever nigh. The trail ahead is rough and wide, Yet through the trials, let honor reign; With every step, let truth abide, And cast away temptation's chain. In cities bright and mountains tall, Where fortunes rise and shadows fall, Hold steadfast to the light within, And let not doubt or darkness win. For as you journey through the land, Let wisdom be your guiding hand; Go west, young man, with heart sincere, And let your path be crystal clear. In every choice, let grace be known, In every deed, let kindness show; For in the west, where dreams are spun, Thou shalt find peace when all is done. So heed this call as you advance, With courage bold and spirit dance; Go west, young man, but always keep, A watchful heart, awake, and deep.
