Glory,My quiet light
There is a girl I see,not far but not near With her quiet steps and thoughts so clear She hides her smile behind her eyes Like the stars that blink in midnight skies Her voice is soft, like whispered streams She walks alone, lost deep in her dreams She doesn’t speak the way most do But silence wraps her heart in pure truth Her hair tied back, her stance so tall She says so little but it says it all No curves to flaunt, no games to play And yet still, she takes my breath away She is not the type of girl that crowds all chase But I can’t help but love her grace To me,she shines in her own way Like the morning breaking through the gray And if she knew the love I store She’d never have to close that door 'Cause Glory, girl, if you just see You’re everything the world hides from me
