"Gloomy."
As dawn breaks, the sun's first light, Yet within, there's a shadow's flight. Is it the day or just my plight, That leaves me feeling lost in night? Hours pass, the day rolls on, People converse, under the sun. Laughter rings, as they move along, But here I stay, feeling withdrawn. Oh, gloomy soul, within I sway, Oh, somber day, in shades of gray. Fog drifts, an eerie affair, Veiling sight with a silent stare. In the haze, my thoughts do stray, Lost in the mist of disarray. Seeking solace, a guiding light, To lead me from this endless night. Yet amidst the gloom, a whisper calls, A gentle breeze that softly falls. In its murmur, a faint decree, A promise of hope, for eyes to see. Through the fog, a path appears, Guiding me through doubts and fears. Step by step, I find my way, Towards the dawn of a brand new day.
