Glass House
That house of glass upon the hill was not a house of love, but still, It was a house of you and I. There, in that fancy hall of glass, you did not cry, you did not laugh, you did not speak, nor half of what you usually do. That crystal home that we both shared was built because we both dared to speak the words we said were just the truth. But that kind of truth is hard as stone and hurts so bad it can break bones as we discovered also to be true. We found out transparency is nothing more than a fantasy and that people don't really want the brutal truth. That kind of truth can hurt like hell and now we know so very well what stones can do to glass. So we don't live upon the hill and I know that we never will, because if you throw stones and can't take pain or don't like hailstones when it rains, then you shouldn't live in a house of glass, because a stone that's thrown can surely break your.....house.
