Glass Child
In silence held, I stand alone, The glass child, a soul unknown. Fragile heart, transparent skin, In a world where storms begin. Each word, a shard, can cut so deep, A fragile secret that I keep. Emotions like a gentle breeze, Yet they shatter with such ease. Through clear pane, I see the world, Its beauty, pain, in colors swirled. I feel it all, so keen, so clear, The joy, the sorrow, every tear. But strength resides in fragile grace, In vulnerability, I find my place. I'll mend my cracks, though they may show, For this glass child will learn and grow. With resilience and inner light, I'll navigate the darkest night. A glass child, yes, but I'll endure, For love and hope remain so pure.
