Not a pest, but an angel, That came to give good news to the barren. The barrenness—a visitor whose welcome overstayed, Your prayers have been answered—something in kind has repaid. Abraham waited for years to be blessed, But after the visitation of a heavenly messenger, he was impressed. He treated them as guests, not mere visitors, As if he knew what was happening—like an orator. Not knowing they were messengers from the Lord, He cared for them with honor, never absurd. So see yourself as a guest in the midst of strangers, Not a visitor coming with a load of dangers.
