Time slowly slips away Echoes of memories, on constant replay I've drifted far from who I once knew Lost in the depths of despair's cruel brew Decaying walls surround this forsaken space Curious eyes ponder how I reached this place A voice, once loud, now silenced by pain No rescue came, no help to regain Weary of the mundane, tired of the strife No longer can I bear the weight of life What was once cherished, now slips from my grasp Leaving me empty, longing for a gasp Restless nights no more, sleep's chains broken I won't be drained, by pain left unspoken With my final breath, on this fated day I'll let go of it all, at long last, I'll lay
