give it a title Boyi 😂
Life taught me pain before it taught me language. I learned how to endure long before I learned how to ask for help. Some battles didn’t announce themselves. They just sat on my chest at night and dared me to keep breathing. I smiled through storms because breaking in public felt like weakness, and silence became the safest place to bleed. Life has a way of testing you when you’re already tired asking for strength right after it empties your hands. I have carried dreams with shoulders that were already wounded. Carried faith while doubt whispered like it knew my name. There were moments I felt forgotten, not by people but by time itself. Like progress skipped my address and left me with “be patient” as consolation. Pain refined me. Not gently. It stripped me, taught me humility through loss, and patience through delay. I learned that survival is not heroic it is quiet, stubborn, and often unseen. Some days, life didn’t ask if I was ready. It just took, and waited to see if I would still stand. And I did. Bruised faith. Heavy heart. Still standing. Not healed but honest. Not whole but breathing. And sometimes, that is the bravest thing a soul can do.
