give and take
the trees we cut down give us all we need the air to breathe the shade to protect us from the harsh sun their leaves shielding our eyes and skin the trees we cut down give us the fruit we gorge on the fruits which juices provide us with hydration and in return, what do we give? we give the trees death a saddening peril in which people gladly partake solely so that we can build our cities destroying those of the forest the forests that house many, many more than our cities ever have and ever will so yes, we give to our kind but doing so only seems to take.
