Girlhood
If I were to tell you what it's it like being a Girl, I would say it's beautiful and pretty. If you were to say, what is it truly like, I would say it's fun and lovely. Yet painfully long. From the moment we were born, to the minute we get our hair pulled by Some boy on the monkey bars because we Dont like him back, It's amazing. Then we start to realize boys are violent And cruel when they don't get what they Want. We get our first bra, and all the sudden Were 10 years older than our age, And telling all our friends. Then boys notice a change, And all of a sudden, the boys you've been Calling best friends since 1st grade are now Staring at your chest all the time. Then your period, Pads and tampons, You're a real woman. You feel so grown up yet so ashamed. When you finally lose your virginity, That's when being a girl ends, And now you're truly a woman. The innocence finally leaves, and all you Want to do is cry and cry and cry. But yes, being a girl is wonderful and Beautiful.
