Gift or Curse
I'm 22 and I never fucking grew I'm 22, yet I never grew Say it once Say it again I only belong among the thin Older than dirt to all the kids Baby fetus to all the adults I live in limbo as they say I look younger by the day "It's a gift, it's a perk!" For what? Not being a jerk? Sometimes I'm glad I look so young Sometimes I wish I could have more fun But I don't fit in anywhere Not even among my own peers Not able to participate in kids activities Nor take part in adults' activities I guess I could, but I'd feel like an imposter A child in disguise, on the roster. The potential looks, the potential sneers. Is more than enough to steer me clear. For why is a child here?
