Ghosts In The Halls
In the halls of echoes, I walk unseen, A ghost among the living, it would seem, Faces blur, a distant, fading scene, My heart, a hollow, echoing unseen. They laugh and talk, a vibrant bustling, But I stand silent, where I don't belong. A shadow cast, a whisper, soft and long, My soul drift, where I've seen all along. Yet hope remains, a flicker in the night, A spark of courage, burning every bright. For even ghosts can find their true light, And break the silence, with a whispered "I'm alright".
