ghosted (part2)
You touched my lips like a promise, Then vanished like a lie. Did I look that easy to forget? Was I just a way to pass time by? You fed me soft words, Then gave me silence in return. Now you’re “sorry” — how convenient, But I’m the one who had to burn. You say you were at church, Out of data, out of reach — But you had enough signal To leave a heart out on the street. Don’t talk to me about feelings now, When you ghosted mine with ease. You don’t get to play the victim While I’m begging on my knees. You want to be “clear and honest”? Then start with this: You got what you wanted, Then dipped like none of it meant sh*t. I’m not your pause, your phase, your maybe, I’m not the lesson you had to learn. Next time you kiss someone like you mean it Make sure you don’t leave them to burn.
