GERONTOPHOBIA
My father narrated the pathetic tale he wanted to tell Afterwards, I was gripped by the cold-catching fear In my stomach, numerous phobias dwell As it rises up and swells. My head rested on the palm of mine brooding In the deep pool of thinking, it was swimming He said man's skin metamorphoses from smoothing to wrinkling As the earth revolves around the sun each day. How sad and unfortunate! The young kitten wishes not to get old The aged ones feel sad at wrinkles on the face Grey hair is putting a call through their heads Their strengths are weakened as the grey visits their heads For they know that it their coming of old ages. What goes up shall surely descend down The dyed hair is just a fashion couple with an illusion Old age counts with the highest motion I understand how developed I'm, day by day, But my heart is saddened as the old age nears and how my beauty gradually fades How good would it be to be able to avoid coming of old age For I can't withstand seeing myself being old again.
