gas station
I did the thing today it's been a month since I last saw you amicably since you hid when I got my stuff 3 years, and you say goodbye on snapchat and block me before I could answer I went to the gas station by your house I did not drive by I did not check to see you if you're well to see your car or the empty spot where I'd park mine I didn't check for you, I just went to get gas and I left and it felt a little scary. a common place. somewhere you could be. you could show up but I did it for me the better price it felt weird driving that way, like I had so many times except this time I wasn't excited to see you the roads I don't even have to think about which way to turn now twisting my stomach. it felt wrong because I've associated them with you but not anymore, I'm creating a new narrative because you don't own any areas It's not like I'm not allowed to go there and you weren't there you'd never know if I was and so, I did the thing despite being initially uncomfortable with it because I deserve some peace too
