Ganga
This roaring river, A home of grandeur ! To the living & dead To the gods & devils To the holy & harlot This home I sought, To see the union; Of the two worlds. Where Illusion & reality met Like the silt & salt, The ashes & sand, Of the sad going Corpses & beings Is there a home here? For a man like me Who doesn't care About sin or virtue, Heaven or hell, Oh, Ganges ! Is it just a holy dip for me ? Or will you show me your Boundless nectar! Where heights & depths cease ! My being cool at ease.
