Fruitfulness #1
Look up, you'll see the stars scattered in the sky, Each one bright, unique, and special, Each one telling its own story, a twinkling tale that can't be hidden, Some offer more light than others, but all are within sight Look down, you'll see the earth with seeds scattered aboard, Each one of a different kind, certain, solid, and true, Each one nurtured differently, but all given equal level, Some look promising, so much potential in a little body The tragic thing is, not all seeds make it into the ground, Some are stolen, devoured, never to bloom, Robbing the earth of what they could offer, even their sound, Tragedy has a voice, it's just silence in the gloom Some fell on the earth and not in it, Shooting up with life, till they began to wither, They were so dry, you could feel them breaking down from inside out, If only the sound of pain was louder, their screams would fill the earth Then there were those who made it in the earth, They were so beautiful, reminds you of the stars, But just after their birth, they tasted death by thorns, A cry that goes beyond today and tomorrow rises from the deep
