Frozen Smile
As we laugh And smile Time stops. As you look into My frozen Smile You see the Exhaust in my eyes, The pain in my smile, My smile is no longer Genuine as you see The truth. You realize I am Just a puppet in a Show nobody wants To watch, invisible strings Pulling at the corner Of my mouth to make me smile. As time unfreezes Your smile fades, I ask "why is your Beautiful smile gone?" As you try to respond The feeling of guilt Overwhelms you As the only thing you Said was "I'm sorry."
