From the pain
From the pain My words bloomed, Like summer fruits they budded All I can ever say is I tried If love isn't my thing Then why am I so hooked Addictions like this are cruel As cruel as the first murder. From the pain My symphony rises, I heard muses But pain is one that never leaves His instruments are everywhere Down to the very last note He's always there. From the pain My voice sounds louder, From whispers to echoes From echoes to screams My voice is but drained No more sweet words He drained them all But through it all I'm a believer. From the pain My scars find sanctuary, Their openings gave me hope Their purpose is a lesson A lesson to my never existing heart I only wish to see my end In this world there's no hope A hope that I held on to Is now but a mirage. From the pain It's never safe, All I can hear are screams Screams of lost lovers Wailings of broken hearts Cupid you began this deception Please end it I now have no more words The words I had Can never be so cruel. From the pain These hands speak, Crushed are the old odes Now dirges flow like honey Poems of death and loneliness They were slumbering But now they seek freedom This is a dirge A dirge to my aching heart.
