From Strictness To Friendship
It was August fourteen, The first time I saw your face, Friends whispered softly, “His class is not an easy place.” “He is very strict,” they told me, “You must stay silent there…” So I entered your classroom slowly, With nervousness and fear. But the next day changed everything, The story became new, Behind that strict teacher image, Was a heart so pure and true. You smiled while teaching lessons, You noticed every child, Topper, backbencher, weak or strong, To you, all students smiled. You never made us feel small, Never left anyone behind, You taught us like a best friend, With a caring and gentle mind. I was lost among many students, A boy with little confidence inside, But you focused on me silently, And became my support and guide. Then came science exhibition days, After Puja vacation’s end, Out of every teacher in school, You helped us like a true friend. You stayed beside us every moment, Helping our dreams grow higher, You didn’t only teach science, Sir, You lit our future like fire. From “strict sir” in my thoughts, To the teacher I admire most today, You became more than a teacher, A best friend guiding my way. Happy Birthday Debraj Sir 🎉 Thank you for all you do, To be a student of you
