from a distance behind a pen
I saw this girl on the subway. i don't know her, so these words are filled with nothing but impressions from sight. never judge a book by a cover, I know, I know. but the writing flows so easily seeing her. her beautiful pink lips, curved into such a pretty smile. her soft straight hair framing her face. I can't explain her beauty. she was so sunny, created from honey and flowers, she got off at the same stop as me, even her walk radiated joy, she had a spring in her step, golden hair swooshing as her hips swayed. she held hands with the man next to her, as they reached the rain outside he covered her with his jacket, both of them huddled together below, I hope he tells her how beautiful she is every day, the words were at the tip of my tounge as I walked next to them "you look really pretty" but I think I'm better at writing on paper an hour later when my commute is done.
