Friendship ≠ Lovers

Broken... I never wanted to date you, but when you said I couldn't it broke my heart I don't know why I feel like this it shouldn't hurt like a dart... I wish I could understand why it hurts like a knife our friendship is solid brought through life But while our friendship is solid my heart is hurts at the knowledge that you will never be my love I don't understand why I feel this way it makes no sense at all. I wasn't ever aiming for us to be together but when I'm told I can't, it hurts like a knife...
