FRIENDS
Once friends, we shared laughter and dreams, But now, a different side it seems. You revealed your true colors, my dear, And the friendship we had, now unclear. The mask you wore, it slipped away, Revealing a side I couldn't betray. You showed me what truly lies within, A darkness that tainted the trust we'd been. Though the pain of this revelation stings, I'll cherish the memories that friendship brings. For in the past, we held a special bond, But now, a new chapter must respond. We may have drifted apart, it's true, But I'll remember the good times with you. Lessons learned, I'll carry them with care, For they shape the person I'll become, aware. So farewell, my friend, it's time to part ways, But I'll hold onto the memories, always. You showed me who you truly are, And I'll move forward, guided by a different star.
