Friends?
In solitude's embrace, I wandered alone, No parties to attend, no friends to phone. Misled by the illusion of camaraderie's gleam, Yet in reality, it was all just a dream. At recess, I sought companionship's grace, But found rejection in each unkind face. Games formed without me, a painful sting, Left on the sidelines, forgotten in the swing.A child of innocence, believing in ties, Yet I stood alone, under unfriendly skies. Assuming friendship where there was none, Lost in the shadows, under the noonday sun. Focused on studies, I forged my own path, While others faltered, facing failure's wrath. Their whispers revealed a truth untold, They feared my intellect, a story bold. So I walked alone, with head held high, In the halls of knowledge, I soared to the sky. For in solitude, strength did I find, A beacon of light, in the depths of the mind.
