Friend, dear friend
In the shadows, my friend, you dwell, A silent storm, a hidden swell. Behind that smile, does darkness dwell, Consuming you as night befell? Do jests conceal a heart forlorn, In self-deprecation, truth is worn? Your words, a silent plea, I've borne, For in them, a soul, worn and torn. You are here right now, alive but tired, Facing the day, with contempt and ire, Nihilism clouds your every desire, But, do you not see how much you inspire Your worth, my friend, you've failed to see, Diminished by a heart's decree. Yet, through all your pain, here we will be. Together, we'll face these stormy seas In laughter, in love, in silent cries, We'll stand beside you as allies. Your strength, a beacon in the skies, Guiding us through life's cruel tides. So, my friend, in moments dire, Know our love will never tire. For you, we'll walk through flame and mire, Till we reach the heights of a life admired
