Friend
I tried talking to my friend Used to be my 'best friend' till I opened my eyes... Saw the naked truth They couldn't help me... Never could Endless nights I felt alone but pretending I had someone to call They never cared enough to ask why I felt how I felt alone and numb When I tried to explain they'd say Okay or goodnight or I can't help you So I kept regretting why I had hope in the Unknown. Maybe they'd help me one day They did love me anyway right? They cared after all right? I wouldn't die with a curable disease Not when they could unlock the pharmacy door, Right? I don't know anymore I'm alone and in my darkest paths To a room full of friends Friends that won't help me. © Melody
