Freedom

What is true freedom? Is it not the concept of being who ever you want to be? What does it mean to be? What is the self? Is self not what you give to yourself, a label of what you want to be? Wouldn't freedom be a release from the self Is true freedom the absence of self? No labels and not being, would be freedom What is freedom? Is my own self-identity chaining me from truly being free?
