Freedom
Held in detention, always looking green, always soliloquizing. I feel blue! Sat close to the window, gazing at the stars, asking questions, " when would I be disenchanted?" I've been here for aeons, begging pharaoh for mercy, not even a scent of liberty did I perceive. I have always known you to be a right to wield and enjoy with no phobia, a right to be bosomed Oh, sweet liberty, a right to know your worth, I'll unravel those shackles, even if it takes nights or a hundred years to fight.
